I understand that it can be difficult to find a psychiatrist. This website is a way to introduce myself and provide an overview of my treatment philosophy and services so that you can make an informed decision.
Role as a Psychiatrist
I am an adult and child psychiatrist in Denver, Colorado, who works with children, teenagers, adults and their families to help them with mental, emotional and behavioral challenges. As a psychiatrist, I employ both psychotherapy and psychiatric medication, when appropriate, to improve the functioning and happiness and alleviate the suffering of my patients. I am a general psychiatrist, meaning that I enjoy, and have experience, working with many different types of people on a wide range of issues.
Areas of Psychiatric Expertise
I see people of all ages with a variety of problems including struggles with family, relationships, school, career and the vicissitudes of life. In addition to treating common presenting psychiatric complaints like impaired job performance, relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression, I have expertise in a number of specialty areas, particularly ADHD. Finally, I have a specific interest in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to help patients make comprehensive and sustained changes.
My office is located in the Lower Highlands (LoHi) neighborhood of Denver. Currently, I am accepting new patients. The wait time for an initial session is approximately one to two weeks. I do not accept insurance, but would be happy to provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurer for out-of-network benefits. If you have any inquiries, please contact me at 303-335-9334 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
